Orietta Luporini

Graduated in piano cum laude under Rossana Bottai at the L. Boccherini Music Institute, she has a degree cum laude in solo piano and Music Teaching at the “Giacomo Puccini” Conservatory of La Spezia. She perfected her studies with Rossana Bottai, Andrea Lucchesini, Stephanka Krivensky Mandratchjieva in Milan and in chamber music with Pier Narciso Masi at the International Piano Academy ” Incontri col Maestro ” in Imola. He has attended courses by M°. Boris Berman in Italy and Austria since 2016 and continues her specialization with M°. Annibale Rebaudengo. She has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in Italy and abroad at prestigious institutions, including the Amalfi International Piano Festival, the Euterpe Music Association in Rome, the International Cultural Festival of Algiers, the “Il Fiore” Academy in Florence, the Metronome Saal in Copenhagen, the Stadthalle in Unna, Germany, the Institutes of Italian Culture in Vienna, Bucharest, and Sofia, the Literatur Haus in Salzburg, the Dante Alighieri Societies in Vienna, Eisenstadt and Kiel, and Rai Radio Televisione Italiana. In 2002 she performed the concert for the reopening of the Georgofili Academy in Florence after the 1993 bombing. She collaborated several years in Vienna with reciter Bettina Rossbacher in the programs “Literatur und Musik,” for piano and reciting voice. In 2010 in duo with pianist Francesca Amato she recorded the CD “Wonderful Sufferings,” with music by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms. Since 2020 she has started a new artistic partnership with pianist Luca Pieruccioni: in 2021, the year of Dante’s celebrations, their project “Dante Symphonie” by F.Liszt, due to its intrinsic cultural value, received the patronage of the Vatican Episcopal College for Culture and was broadcast by Vatican Radio. An expert teacher, thanks to the education received, concert experience and the psycho-educational approach of Maya Liebl, learned over the years, following courses and lectures given by Dr. Gabriella Zorzi, a student of Maya Liebl. She also conducts her lessons in English and German; her pupils have always distinguished themselves in national and international competitions. She is currently a piano teacher at the “G. Carducci” Middle School in Lucca, while she was among the winners of the 2018 national competition for piano in music high schools. She is piano teacher at “Pietro Mascagni” State Conservatory of Livorno since 2023.
